All people, young and old alike, have a weakness for sugary snacks. Young people have a natural craving for sweets, but consuming excessive amounts of sugar and empty calories isn’t healthy. Provide them something on the lighter side if you must prepare a snack or dessert for them. If you’re looking for a healthy and delicious dessert option for your kids, try adding some fresh strawberries.

Here are some delicious strawberry desserts that are kid-friendly:

Strawberry Oatmeal Bars, the Best Ever!

This is what you’ll require:

two cups of fresh strawberries, chopped
Traditional oats, rolled to a smaller size, 1 cup
Half a cup and a quarter of all-purpose flour
Sugar, Light Brown, 1/3 Cup
6 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter
One Tablespoon of Lemon Juice, Squeezed
Sugar, granulated, one tablespoon
Cornstarch, 1 teaspoon
One-fourth of a teaspoon of ginger powder
1/2 milligramme of table salt
In a larger bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, ginger, and kosher salt. After the butter has melted, add it and stir it in so that everything is incorporated. Separate and reserve half a cup of the mixture. Place the remaining mixture in a baking dish of 8 by 8 inches that has been lined with parchment paper and press.
Top the crust with half of the strawberries, then sprinkle with the cornflour, lemon juice, and a half tablespoon of granulated sugar. Spread the remaining crumble and berries on top. Put into an oven that has been preheated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the fruit is bubbling and the topping is golden. Cool thoroughly in the fridge. Cut the bars when they are done.

Strawberries stuffed with Nutella

This is what you’ll require:

Fifteen whole, ripe strawberries
1/4 of a jar of Nutella
Coarsely chop 1/4 cup of roasted almonds
Halve the strawberries down the middle. Cut the strawberry in half and use a 1/4 teaspoon to hollow out both halves. Spread a half a spoonful of Nutella in the hollow centre of each strawberry half and sprinkle with plenty of chopped almonds. Prepare and eat the meal right away.
